How IT WORKS
40 applicants have been selected to compete in a three round, single-elimination tournament hosted by Randy Lubas and judged by a panel of entertainment industry professionals. Comics will be evaluated on a scale of 1-10 for material, stage presence, and audience reaction with maximum score of 30.
PRELIMINARIES
June 21st - June 23rd (shows at 7:00PM and 8:30PM)

Forty comics have been selected from a pool of applicants from across the nation to perform 8 minutes of material in one of five heats!
SEMIFINALS
June 23rd at 8:30PM

The top 10 competitors from the preliminaries will advance to the semi-finalists to perform an additional 8 minutes of new material.
FINALS
June 24th at 8:30PM

Five finalists will perform a final 15 minutes, any material of their choice (can repeat), on Saturday, June 24th. At the end of the night, the top comedian will be crowned the champion of the Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival and take home a check for...you guessed it!
